Two-day gaming event for veterans back on in Fall River. What to know before you go.
FALL RIVER — Calling all local veterans with a passion for gaming.
The city-sponsored "Operation: Game On," which was put on pause in early February and postponed, is ready for a restart.
The Fall River Veterans Service Office — in partnership with Bristol Community College Student Veterans of America , The Gaming Club, and Frost Call, a nonprofit that connects vets to resources and shines a spotlight on veterans' mental health through video and tabletop gaming — will be hosting a two-day gaming event in March.
The goal is to bring together veterans, service members, students, and community members for a day focused on connection and support.
In addition to gaming, a mental health Q&A will be held so veterans can learn more about resources available to them and offer an opportunity to network.
Where and when is 'Operation: Game On'
"Operation: Game On" will be held Saturday, March 29, from 2 to 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 30, from noon 4 p.m. at Bristol Community College, G Building Atrium, 777 Elsbree St., Fall River.
