A New Mission Begins
Triangular Pixels has announced that Unseen Diplomacy 2 , the sequel to their acclaimed VR espionage game, will launch in Meta and Steam Early Access on September 25for $15.99 / €14.99 / £12.99.
The studio confirmed that while the game is fully playable, Early Access will allow them to gather community feedback, balance mechanics, and refine the spy experience before the full 1.0 release. The final version will expand with more missions, multiple endings, improved accessibility, and new challenges.
"Launching the game in Early Access gives us the chance to share it with our community sooner, gather feedback, and keep making it bigger and more immersive," said Katie Goode of Triangular Pixels.
Step Into the Shadows
In Unseen Diplomacy 2 , players become a spymaster leading an elite agency, while also stepping into the field to steal intel, sabotage operations, and escape undetected.
Set in a 1990s-inspired retro-futuristic world, missions unfold in dynamic, procedurally generated levels that adapt to the player's available space. Players physically crawl under lasers, roll past traps, clip wires, and don disguises to outwit enemies. For those who prefer a more direct approach, gadgets like blow darts and hacking tools add variety to the action.
Strategic Depth Meets VR Action
Beyond physical infiltration, players must also act as agency directors, managing resources, recruiting agents, and sending operatives on high-stakes assignments. Choices shape the story and ensure that no two playthroughs feel the same.
For Meta Quest 3users, Unseen Diplomacy 2 also integrates mixed reality, blending spy action directly into players' living rooms.
