It's no secret that breaking into show biz can be quite tough. Talent and "it" factor play a huge role in who gets a shot at stardom, but much of navigating Hollywood is also about who you know. Many celebrities, past and present, have watched their family members pave the path to fame before following in their footsteps. Those connections have undoubtedly played a role in their access to auditions and opportunities. Yes, we're talking about nepo babies .

Reddit user phantom_avenger recently asked members of the r/movecritic subreddit: "What actor or actress actually has talent although they come from nepotism?" Many people responded to the thread sharing the talented "nepo baby" stars who they believe have earned every last bit of their fame. Here's what they said:

1. Kate Hudson

"Kate Hudson. I feel like she meets this description well. Her mother is Goldie Hawn , and her stepdad is Kurt Russell . Talk about an all-time upbringing."

While speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival in December 2024, Michael clapped back at the idea of being a nepo baby.
