Grammy-winning artist to headline Boston’s new LGBTQ+ music festival
Grammy Award winner Kim Petras and drag icon Trixie Mattel will headline an LGBTQ+ music festival that is coming to Boston for the first time this year.
OUTLOUD will make its East Coast debut at The Stage at Suffolk Downs in Boston on Saturday, June 21.
The festival will feature performances from both established and emerging artists. The rest of OUTLOUD Boston's lineup includes Flo Milli, Rebecca Black, G Flip, Frankie Grande, Oompa, Big Body Kweeng, Hannah Rad and MATH3CA.
OUTLOUD's arrival to Boston towards the end of Pride Month is extra significant this year as the city recently became a sanctuary city for the transgender community .
"In today's political climate, it's more important than ever to uplift queer voices and provide a platform for LGBTQ+ artists," Founder and Executive Producer of OUTLOUD Jeff Consoletti said in a press release. "Bringing the OUTLOUD Music Festival to my hometown of Boston is a surreal and full circle moment for me, a moment that isn't lost in today's climate of hostility towards my LGBTQ community."
Created in 2020, OUTLOUD is the leading LGBTQ+ music brand that celebrates and amplifies queer artistry through live events and other entertainment experiences.
OUTLOUD also recently announced its 2025 lineup for its flagship event at WeHo Pride from May 31 to June 1. The event will feature headliners Lizzo, Lil Nas X , Honey Dijon, Paris Hilton and Kim Petras.
