‘Unknown odor’ at Boston hotel prompts hazmat team investigation
A hazmat team of Boston firefighters were called to the Boston Park Plaza on Wednesday morning after the department received a report of an "unknown odor" at the hotel.
The call for the smell came into the Boston Fire Department at around 5:15 a.m. on April 16, according to a statement from the department.
Firefighters arrived at Boston Park Plaza shortly after with a hazmat team.
After an investigation, the firefighters found the smell was coming from a small ammonia leak in a mini refrigerator, the department said.
