Marvel Super Heroes Commander Precons Revealed

The commander precon decks of Magic: The Gathering's upcoming Marvel Super Heroes universes beyond set were revealed recently by GameSpot . Marvel Super Heroes will have four commander precon decks. Three of these are hero themed and one is villain themed. Let's take a closer look at each of the commander precons that will be available when Marvel Super Heroes releases.
The Fantastic Four

Firstly, Marvel Super Heroes' The Fantastic Four is a four-color, sans-black commander precon that's themed around The Fantastic Four. This precon's cover art features each member of The Fantastic Four, all of which can act as this deck's commander. All four members of The Fantastic Four were already revealed back in December 2025 during the first look at Marvel Super Heroes .
Based on this commander precon's packaging, The Fantastic Four is themed around casting noncreature spells and protection fields.
Avengers Assemble

Next, Avengers Assemble is a Jeskai-colored commander precon featuring Earth's Mightiest Heroes. This precon's cover art features Captain America and Nick Fury, who will likely be this deck's two possible commander cards.
The packaging of this precon states that Avengers Assemble is themed around growing your ranks and using equipment and counters. Based on this description, I assume that this precon will focus on going wide with the heroes of this set. Additionally, this precon will probably use equipment and counters to strengthen and power up the heroes you have in play.
Wakanda Forever

The last of the hero themed commander precons in Marvel Super Heroes is the green and white colored Wakanda Forever. On the cover of the Wakanda Forever precon is Black Panther, the King of Wakanda.
Based on the packaging, Wakanda Forever will be a precon that focuses on using artifacts, which is surprising considering Selesnya isn't traditionally known for this. Additionally, the reign as the monarch wording on the box hints that this commander precon might also include cards that will utilize the monarch mechanic.
Doom Prevails

Finally, Doom Prevails is the lone commander precon in Marvel Super Heroes that's villain themed. This commander precon is Grixis-colored, which is normally associated with the villains of Magic: The Gathering such as Nicol Bolas. Based on the cover art and name, Doctor Doom will be the face commander and Loki is the backup commander.
Doom Prevails will be themed around using the connive mechanic and could also feature cards that drain your opponents' life. Previously, the connive mechanic was also featured in the Marvel's Spider-Man universes beyond set as one of the villain mechanics.
Each Marvel Super Heroes commander precon will have an MSRP of $69.99. Additionally, there will also be a Collector's Edition of these precons that has an MSRP of $149.99. The difference between the two is that every card in the Collector's Edition will have a Surge Foil treatment.
