Rock legend plays iconic song for first time in 15 years
Legendary rock singer, Bob Dylan played one of his biggest hits for the first time since 2010.
Dylan played his 1964 hit, "The Times They Are A Changin'" at FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, Tennessee on Wednesday, June 25, after 15 years of not performing the song, according to Rolling Stone.
The last time Dylan played the song was in the East Room of the White House during Barack Obama's presidency on Feb. 19, 2010, at an event honoring the Civil Rights Movement, Parade reported . Artists including Smokey Robinson, Natalie Cole, Jennifer Hudson, Joan Baez and John Mellencamp also performed.
The song became a 1960s anthem that has been covered by other famous artists including Nina Simone, Bruce Springsteen and The Beach Boys. The song is also at number 59 on Rolling Stone's 2005 list of the " 500 greatest songs of all time. "
Actor Timothée Chalamet, who was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Dylan in the 2024 drama "Complete Unknown," also performed the song.
