Susan Lucci is relishing in the fact that she was recently name-dropped in an episode of the hit animated sitcom Family Guy .
The iconic soap opera star took to social media this week to gush over a recent episode of the Seth MacFarlane -created series, in which the characters mentioned Lucci, along with a couple of other celebrities, directly by name.
Lucci, 78, shared a snippet of Family Guy Season 23 Episode 8, entitled "Hard Times at Adam West High," to her Instagram page on Wednesday, July 2. In one scene, characters Brian (voiced by MacFarlane) and Chris Griffin ( Seth Green) are seen sneaking into Stewie's time machine, where they are prompted to enter a password in order to get access to the machine.
Brian and Chris then tried to guess what the password is, with Brian throwing out Zac Efron's name. In an unexpected moment, Chris then shouts out Lucci's name, to no avail, before the duo continued to make more random guesses.
"FAMILY GUY surprise!" the All My Children alum wrote in the caption of her Instagram post on Wednesday, while adding a series of laughing-crying emojis to signify that she got a kick out of the unlikely name-drop.
"That's great 😂," one of her fans gushed in the comments, while other users called the moment "fantastic" and "Iconic."
"Susan Lucci should've been the correct password.😆," another person quipped.
