Members of three iconic rock bands have joined forces for a 2025 concert tour.

Aerosmith's Joe Perry is taking his band, The Joe Perry Project, on the road this summer for an eight-date tour .

Perry will be joined by his Aerosmith bandmates Brad Whitford and Buck Johnson, along with The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson and Stone Temple Pilots' Robert DeLeo, and Eric Kretz.

"Well…it's time to let the music do the talkin again," Perry said in a press release. "I'm really excited about the JPP line up this year!!!! Most of these guys played with me at The Roxy in L.A. at the debut event for my latest solo album [Sweetzerland Manifesto] in January 2018. They're all busy as hell but thankfully they're able to carve out some time for this run."

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee said the shows will feature hits from each of the musicians' respective bands.

"[It's] gonna be a BLAST, and if you've ever been to one of my shows you know the words GARAGE BAND on STEROIDS come to mind," Perry said. "See you there!"

The tour kicks off in Tampa, Florida on Aug. 13 and ends in Port Chester, New York on Aug. 23. The only Massachusetts show is scheduled for Aug. 19 at the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston .

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public Friday.
