Eight months after his death from ALS at age 53, Eric Dane's memoir is hitting shelves.
"My Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments" is set to be released on Nov. 3 in hardcover, e-book and audiobook formats. The "Grey's Anatomy" star began writing the book in the months following his 2023 diagnosis and continued to work on it until his death on February 19, 2026.
In a nod to his "profound" work on "Euphoria," the audiobook of "My Book of Days" is narrated by Dane's on-screen son, actor Jacob Elordi. Dane and Elordi played Cal and Nate Jacobs in all three seasons of the HBO series .

The memoir spans Dane's career, told through a series of "days" that "each illuminate a defining experience or emotional truth," from his early years in Hollywood and his journey to sobriety to the life-changing experience of being diagnosed with ALS .
Per the book's official synopsis, "Dane also looks beyond his lifetime to the "future days" that would come after he was gone—days meant for his daughters (Billie, 16, and Georgia, 15 ) to read, to remember, and to carry forward.
"He leaves behind not just a record of his life, but a lasting guide to cherishing time itself: a reminder that while most of us don't think in days, we should, because each day is both a story and a gift."

Maria Shriver, whose The Open Field imprint is publishing the memoir, also lends her voice to the audiobook.
When the book was announced in the days following Dane's death, Shriver, 70, said she was "honored" that Dane chose her imprint to publish the book.
"He told me he wanted his family to know how much he loved them and he wanted to leave them a story they could be proud of," she added.
