Jon Hamm Robs His Rich Friends in ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Trailer
- Jon Hamm stars in Apple series "Your Friends & Neighbors" as a hedge fund manager who turns to robbing his wealthy neighbors after losing his job and getting divorced.
No one would expect a guy like Jon Hamm to be robbing his neighbors.
In Your Friends & Neighbors , Hamm steps back into leading man role for his Apple series when he stars as Coop, a family man who bets on just that fact when, after he did it all — he got the cars, the house, the stuff — it all comes crashing down.

Newly divorced and having lost his job, Coop decides to start robbing his rich neighbors. "Rich guy loses his big job, has liquidity problems, turns to petty crime. That's not savvy, that's stupidity," he's told. "Maybe it's just desperation," he replies in the trailer (below).
The drama has already been renewed for a second season ahead of its launch. Your Friends & Neighbors releases its nine-episode first season on April 11 with two episodes, followed by a weekly episode release on Fridays through the May 30 finale.
Your Friends & Neighbors is created by Jonathan Tropper. Hamm stars and is an executive producer.
Here's the logline: "After being fired in disgrace, Andrew 'Coop' Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager still grappling with his recent divorce, resorts to stealing from the homes of his neighbors in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village, only to discover that the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades might be more dangerous than he ever imagined."
Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan round out the cast.
Your Friends & Neighbors reunites Hamm with Apple after he starred in the third season of The Morning Show . He is expected to return in some capacity for season four.
The Apple Studios series is produced by Tropper Ink. Creator and author Tropper serves as showrunner, director and executive producer under his overall deal with Apple TV+. Hamm executive produces alongside Connie Tavel and Craig Gillespie, the latter who directed the first two episodes. Additional episodes are directed by Stephanie Laing, Greg Yaitanes and Tropper.
