From 'House of Dynamite' to 'Jurassic World Rebirth,' 10 movies to stream right now

Cue that John Williams theme because dinosaurs are moseying across your screens again.

"Jurassic World Rebirth" is one of several movies coming in hot on your favorite streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Peacock and Amazon's Prime Video . There are theatrical releases arriving at home for the first time, such as an Orlando Bloom boxing drama, but don't sleep on original fare including a Netflix gambling flick starring Colin Farrell or a cinematic spin on "Hedda Gabler" with Tessa Thompson.

Here are 10 new and notable movies you can stream right now :

'Ballad of a Small Player'

Colin Farrell plays a gambler hiding out in Macau from his past and some outstanding debts in Netflix's "Ballad of a Small Player."

Lord Doyle (Colin Farrell) tries to live the high life in Macau, gambling his nights away until a string of bad luck catches up to him. A casino employee (Fala Chen) lends financial and emotional support, a private eye (Tilda Swinton) hired by his European debtors comes calling, but Doyle might be too greedy for his own good in the neon-drenched thriller.

'The Cut'

Orlando Bloom (center, with John Turturro) stars as a boxer who goes to extremes to prep for a match in the drama "The Cut."

A decade after missing his chance at stardom, an Irish boxer (Orlando Bloom) gets another round of redemption against the current champ, if the fighter can make weight – in his case, lose 25 pounds in a week. The drama veers from the usual sports-movie cliches by exploring mental health and eating disorders with a dose of psychological horror.

'The Hand That Rocks the Cradle'

It's definitely a different, more grounded take on the soapy 1992 original, which featured a deliciously over-the-top Rebecca De Mornay. This time, it's Maika Monroe as the manipulative nanny who inserts herself into a family dynamic – for reasons – and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the wife forced to deal with her shady shenanigans.

'Hedda'

In the period drama, Tessa Thompson's title character hosts a party at her new place to increase her clout and help her husband score an important professorship. Her ex-lover (Nina Hoss) is his biggest competition and is also invited to the shindig. Thompson fuels the twisty, sexy and deadly night that unfolds with dangerous allure.

'A House of Dynamite'

The president (Idris Elba) is under fire to figure out how to respond when a nuclear missile is launched at America in the thriller "A House of Dynamite."

If you're feeling iffy about the state of the world, Kathryn Bigelow's political thriller won't exactly be a pick-me-up. But it is an important watch, imagining a scenario where government officials have 18 minutes before a nuclear missile hits America in a nerve-shredding movie starring Idris Elba, Jared Harris and Rebecca Ferguson .

'Jurassic World Rebirth'

Jonathan Bailey plays paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis and Scarlett Johansson is covert operations expert Zora Bennett in "Jurassic World Rebirth."

The latest installment in the long-running "Jurassic" franchise tries something different by throwing a heist movie into the usual perilous adventure. Scarlett Johansson , Jonathan Bailey and Oscar winner Mahershala Ali go on a mission to procure dino DNA for a shady businessman and run into a mess of mutated monsters .

'Shell'

A fading actress (Elisabeth Moss, right) looks to a wellness guru (Kate Hudson) to save her career in the horror satire "Shell."

Here come retreads of "The Substance," though at least this body horror satire has got some star power. Elisabeth Moss plays a former sitcom star who, after losing one too many jobs to younger actresses, comes under the sway of a powerful wellness guru (Kate Hudson) but begins to sense something sinister afoot.

'Sorry, Baby'

Agnes (Eva Victor) struggles with her mental health after a sexual assault in the dramedy "Sorry, Baby."

Eva Victor writes, directs and stars in the funny, moving dramedy as Agnes , a college literature professor still battling the psychological effects years after being sexually assaulted by her teacher. Now working in his former office, Agnes navigates panic attacks and triggered memories with the help of her best friend (Naomi Ackie) and an adorable gray cat.

'Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost'

Jerry Stiller and a young Ben Stiller are featured in an archival family photo from the documentary "Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost."

Ben Stiller directs this loving documentary about his parents, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. With sister Amy, Ben chronicles his mom and dad's careers, coming together as a comedy duo that hit it big on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in the 1960s, and also digs into their personal lives and the friction between them off stage.

'Weapons'

Amy Madigan plays freaky Aunt Gladys in the horror movie "Weapons."

In "Barbarian" director Zach Cregger's mystery-horror tale, a class full of elementary school kids go missing one night, their teacher (Julia Garner) becomes the town pariah, but there's something seriously witchy at work. Really, though, worth it for Amy Madigan's creepy Aunt Gladys alone.
