Bad Bunny did not mince words when denouncing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement while accepting his Grammy.

The Puerto Rican superstar won the award for best música urbana album for "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS" at the 2026 Grammy Awards Sunday, Feb. 1. "Before I say thanks to God, I'm going to say, ICE out," the upcoming  Super Bowl LX halftime headliner said while accepting his award to a standing ovation from the star-studded crowd.

Bad Bunny's remarks come amid  President Donald Trump's administration's crackdown on illegal immigration across the country, which has drawn  intense public scrutiny  within the last month following  several protests and clashes in Minneapolis , including the  shooting deaths of two American citizens , Renee Good  and  Alex Pretti .

"Before I say thanks to God, I'm going to say ICE out. We're not savage, we're not animals, we're not aliens. We are humans, and we were Americans. Also, I will say to people, I know it's tough to know not to hate these days, and I was thinking sometimes, we get contaminados [contaminated] … I don't know how to say that in English. The hate gets more powerful with more hate.

The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different if we fight, we have to do it with love. If, yeah, we don't hate them. We love our people. We love our family, and that's the way to do it. With love. Don't forget that, please. Thank you, God, and thank you to the Academy."

While the front of Bad Bunny's outfit was pretty straightforward except for the dramatic shoulder, the back featured laced-up details. He accessorized his look with a white corsage and light jewelry, including a single hoop earring and rings.
