Country music star pleads with fans for help: ‘She’s family’
Country music star Lee Brice is asking his fans for help, and anyone that has been in his shoes understands his desperation.
The issue?
"Two weeks ago, our sweet girl Charlee slipped way from home, and our hearts have been heavy ever since," he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of his lab, Charlee. "She's not just a dog. She's family. She's pregnant, carrying those little pups, and every day that passes without her safe in our arms feels like a lifetime. We've searched every back road, called every shelter, and prayed harder than we ever have.
"Charlee, if you're out there, hang on, my pretty girl," he added. "Daddy's coming for you. To everyone reading this, y'all know how much our four-legged friends mean to us country folks. If you've seen a pregnant dog that looks like her, or heard anything at all, please message me, comment below, or share this post. Any little cluse could bring her home to her babies … and to us."
Brice closed by thanking everyone from the bottom of his "worried heart."
"Your kindness and prayers mean the world," he wrote. "She could be anywhere in or around the Nashville area … by now she could be anywhere from way south of Franklin, to past Dickson west of town, or any surrounding areas."
Fans were quick to send more prayers and well-wishes, and you can see them all here.
"OMG," one person replied. "Heart wrenching. Praying for your sweet girl and her babies."
"OMG I would be devastated," another wrote. "I'm praying that she gets home safely with her babies."
Brice did add an update about a possible sighting to his Instagram stories, but he has yet to find Charlee.
