Nuñez is the first actor from the original series confirmed to be participating in the Daniels/Koman series. We understand the show will not be centered around Oscar, an accountant at Dunder Mifflin (or any one character), but he is one of the characters in the show and was involved from the start.

The Paper reintroduces the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch as they search for a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.

The ensemble series stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young and Tim Key. Eric Rahill, Duane Shepard Sr., Allan Havey, Nate Jackson, Mo Welch, Nancy Lenehan, Molly Ephraim and Tracy Letts will guest star.

Creators / Executive Producers of The Paper are Greg Daniels ( The Office ) and Michael Koman ( Nathan for You ). Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, Ben Silverman and Banijay Americas (formerly Reveille) executive produce. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.
