Unpopular opinion alert: I haven't been wowed by the Dubai chocolate trend . While I love the combo of pistachio, kadayif (the thin shreds of light, crispy phyllo), and dark chocolate, I often find the chocolate flavor too overpowering. That is, until I tried Compartes' Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Knafeh Cups . I can now officially call myself a big fan — even if I'm possibly the last one to jump on the bandwagon. Better late than never, right?

What You Should Know About Compartes' Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Knafeh Cups

With 75 years of experience, Compartes truly knows how to make delicious chocolates, including best-sellers like the Donuts and Coffee Chocolate Bar , 10-Piece Signature Truffle Gift Box , and Potato Chip Crisp Chocolate Bar . (I was also a big fan of the brand's 2024 advent calendar !) The brand has a bunch of unique, best-selling flavor combos — and one of its latest additions is the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Knafeh Cups .

These chocolate cups might be a new item from Compartes, but they're already a hit. And it makes sense: dark or milk chocolate shells stuffed with a creamy pistachio filling and crispy phyllo strips? Dubai chocolate fans won't want to share the box.

Each box has 10 cups for $44.95, and you can choose whether you want your box to come with all milk chocolate or all dark chocolate cups. It's a delicious gourmet gift you can buy just for yourself or a fellow Dubai chocolate devotee.

My Honest Review of Compartes' Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Knafeh Cups

These Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Knafeh Cups are seriously so good. The chocolate shell has a little snap to it. The pistachio filling is creamy and nutty with a teeny bit of saltiness. And the kadayif is lightly crispy, sort of like the crunch you get from those Pepperidge Farm Pirouette Cookies . Altogether, it makes for a super satisfying bite.

I sampled both the milk and dark chocolate cups. While they're both delicious, my preference is the milk chocolate because it lets the pistachio flavor shine a little more. That said, the dark chocolate cups surprised me — I didn't find the chocolate flavor nearly as overwhelming as I have in the Dubai chocolate bars I've bought from the store and even made myself.

I have really liked storing these Dubai chocolate cups in my fridge, so that the filling doesn't ooze out as much when I bite into one. I'm genuinely surprised by how much I like them, and now I'm thinking I should grab a couple boxes for holiday gifting …
