Royal Caribbean Just Dropped Its Best Look Yet at Its New Bahamas Beach Club—and Fans Are Calling It ‘Paradise’

Move over, Atlantis—Royal Caribbean's newest private destination is almost ready, and the cruise line just shared its most detailed video yet of the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, opening December 23 in Nassau.

The Instagram Reel, filmed on-site as construction wraps up, gives a near-finished look at the exclusive beach club—the first in Royal Caribbean's new Royal Beach Club Collection. Although the line has previously released renderings and construction snippets, this video is the most comprehensive preview so far, showing finished pools, cabanas, ferries, art installations and beach zones.

A New "Paradise" Taking Shape

In the video and accompanying captions, fans flooded the comments calling the destination "paradise" and "the best way to vacay." In the short clip, sunny scenes showcase nearly completed areas and reveal several never-before-seen features.

Custom Ferries for the Island

The first reveal sparking excitement is a fleet of brightly colored, custom-built ferries designed to shuttle guests directly from Royal Caribbean ships to the private pier. Royal says the ferries are " ocean ready" and purpose-built for the island experience.

Cabanas, Beaches and a Massive Pool

At Chill Beach, yellow wood-planked cabanas line the shoreline, designed as a full-day "home base" for guests.

The island's central pool stretches more than 400 feet, featuring "shallow ledges" overlooking crystal-blue Bahamian water.

Local Artists Bring Bahamian Culture to the Club

The video also highlights local artists painting custom murals—one of the elements executives say they're most proud of. Royal Caribbean also partnered with 11 Bahamian artists to create 15–20 pieces throughout the site, including Angelika Wallace-Whitfield (pictured above.)

"We spent a lot of time listening to what people wanted, and this is it," said Royal Caribbean President and CEO Michael Bayley in a newsroom video sharing what went into the island's design. "The Bahamian influence throughout the site is what I'm most proud of."

According to the brand, the destination was also developed with local Bahamian architects and cultural advisors.

Family-Friendly Zones and a First-of-Its-Kind Slide

The island includes a dedicated Family Beachwith a zero-entry pool, play areas and beachside surf. Royal also previewed a "dry-wet" slide built into the two-story family cabanas—a first for the brand.

Floating Flamingo, Party Cove & More

The Royal Beach Club will feature what Royal Caribbean says will be the world's largest swim-up bar, the Floating Flamingo, plus a DJ-hosted Party Cove for adults looking for a lively atmosphere.

All-Inclusive Day Pass

Royal says access will be exclusive to its guests, with an all-inclusive day pass covering:

• Ferry transportation

• Wi-Fi

• Unlimited food

• Unlimited alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks

Many cruisers in early discussions note that it offers strong value, especially for passengers who typically stay onboard during Nassau port days.

"The Ultimate Beach Day"

"The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island is really the ultimate beach day," said Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer, in a newsroom video about the release. "It's an all-inclusive chill day for our guests."

Senior Product Manager Emily Esquilin added that the destination represents a "white-paper opportunity"—the first in a new class and fully designed from the ground up.

With construction nearing completion and previews accelerating, Royal Caribbeanappears poised to launch one of its most ambitious private-destination projects yet.
