Since 1986, the popular fast-food eatery has held its own in the takeout arena and proved itself to be one of the better fast-food choices for burger lovers everywhere.

Five Guys is known for its high-quality, juicy burgers that are fully customizable and never made with frozen beef patties. Customers can choose between a wide variety of free toppings and melt at the taste of the brand's delicious signature cut fries. But where Five Guys really hits the mark outside of its famed-burger offerings is with milkshakes—the selection of which has never featured a seasonal flavor. That is, until now. Available now through December 31 in all North American stores, the Five Guys Candy Cane Crunch Milkshake is already stirring up loads of opinions online being that it is the brand's first holiday item ever. Fans and employees alike have been patiently waiting for their locals to receive the necessary ingredients to start making the new milkshake, with a handful of lucky ones already getting to bask in its holiday-themed sweetness.

"The store I work at ordered the peppermint early and I tried it today with a pump of chocolate," one employee wrote in a post shared to Reddit. "The peppermint pieces are super crunchy and got stuck in my teeth, which I didn't enjoy much. Although, once it melted down a bit, the peppermint flavor blended in with the chocolate well."

News of the holiday milkshake has been making its rounds on TikTok as well, with one customer doing the Lord's work by offering their thoughts after sampling the milkshake for themselves. "Definitely a 10/10 milkshake," TikTok user @ sarahmargareteats exclaimed in her post, "run and go try this!"

The Five Guys Candy Cane Crunch Milkshake is blended with the brand's traditional vanilla base and a hearty helping of candy cane pieces. It is then topped with whipped cream and another scoop of candy cane pieces before being served. Depending on availability per location, customers can mix-in a variety of other toppings such as chocolate, peppermint, bacon, bananas, Reese's cups, strawberries, Oreo cookies, Oreo Crème, peanut butter and salted caramel.

With only a few weeks left in the month, time is running out to try this delicious new milkshake for yourself. Customers online have been calling it "super good," while employees have been echoing customer excitement as they wait for their stores to receive the necessary ingredients to make it themselves while on break. With that kind of notoriety building up, we can only assume Five Guys hit the bullseye with its first-ever holiday creation.
