Lunchables’ New Offering Solves Classic PB&J Dilemma for Picky Kids
- Lunchables has launched a new product called Lunchables PB&J, which is a crustless peanut butter sandwich that comes with a cup of grape or strawberry jelly for dipping.
Lunchables have been a longtime favorite for packed lunches, letting consumers make mini pizzas in the cafeteria and introducing generations to the concept of charcuterie with a perfect bite of cheese, crackers, and deli meat.
Just like when the brand broke the mold (at least for my younger self) when it introduced nachos into its array of offerings, it’s doing it again, this time taking a big swing into Uncrustables ’ turf.
Lunchables has launched a new product that rivals the peanut butter and jelly frozen mainstay, but without needing to wait for your food to thaw.
The new innovation, Lunchables PB&J, also adds some fun to the traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich, making it dippable.

A crustless peanut butter sandwich comes with a cup of either grape or strawberry jelly that kids can dip into, finally solving the classic parenting dilemma of finding the perfect ratio of peanut butter to jelly for picky little ones.
In a statement shared with Parade , the brand said, “Lunchables PB&J solves the No. 1 pain point for parents: thaw time. Current PB&J category offerings are frozen, which requires 30-60 minutes of thaw time before serving. Lunchables is tackling this frustration head-on with the first-ever no thaw, crustless PB&J that’s ready-to-eat straight from the fridge.”
Lunchables PB&J items are rolling out now at select retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $2.49 per pack.
