East Bridgewater man accused of raping, kidnapping teen he met on dating app
An East Bridgewater man is accused of raping an 18-year-old he met on a dating app and holding her in his home for five days until New Year's Eve.
Mohamed Salieu Jalloh, 25, faced 11 charges — including five counts of rape, one of kidnapping and one threatening to commit murder — in Brockton District Court on Friday, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said. He was ordered held without bail and has a dangerousness hearing Jan. 8.
The 18-year-old woman and Jalloh met on a dating app in the past few weeks, according to East Bridgewater police. He has been accused of raping the woman in his home multiple times, from Dec. 27 until Dec. 31, 2025.
Jalloh also faces charges of assault and battery on a family or household member, two counts of threatening to commit a crime and two counts of delivering liquor to a person under 21, in connection with the kidnapping and rape, prosecutors said.
Jalloh was arrested after a preliminary investigation following reports of the assaults made Dec. 31, 2025, police said. At the time of his arrest, he was out on bail — which was revoked on Friday — with GPS monitoring in unrelated pending cases, the district attorney's office said.
