A company that owns more than 100 Dunkin' stores around New England plans to close a Massachusetts production facility in November.

NGP Management LLC, based in North Reading, will lay off 74 people at the 15 Parkridge Road facility, according to a Massachusetts Workers Adjustment Retraining Notice filed with the state on Sept. 2. The location is not a Dunkin' store but employs about 45 production employees and 21 drivers, according to a letter sent to the Massachusetts Department of Career Services.

According to NGP's website , the family-owned company started in 1980 with one Dunkin' location in Haverhill and has since expanded to include stores in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

NGP did not immediately respond to a request for comment. It was not clear what prompted the facility closure and the letter sent to the state did not say that any of the store locations would be closing.
