This Springfield eatery, silenced by fire, has a new owner
SPRINGFIELD – The former All American Bar, Grill & Patio restaurant at 459 Dwight St., closed since a fire struck in December, has been sold.
The buyer is Bar Belmont LLC, a company created and controlled by auto dealer James E. "Jeb" Balise , according to deed paperwork filed with the Hampden County Registry of Deeds and records with the state Secretary of the Commonwealth.
Balise did not respond to questions posed to the marketing team at Balise Auto Group.
The sale closed July 10. The price was $500,000. The half-acre property at the corner of Dwight and Lyman streets contains a building built in 1910. Before it was home to the All American, it was Gino's Pizza.
