On Wednesday, November 8 th 2023, Dr. Eman M. El-labbad, Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, College of Pharmacy, and the Director of the Centre of Interprofessional Education, Research and Practice at Gulf Medical University, gave an oral Research Presentation at the 11 th International Conference on Interprofessional Practice and Education (All Together Better Health 2023) with a title “Outcomes of Introducing Patient-Centred Interprofessional Clinical Training at Gulf Medical University“.
Dr. Eman El-labbad comments, “It was a valuable opportunity to engage with global experts in interprofessional education, research, healthcare practitioners, and policymakers. The conference served as a platform fostering a collaborative environment for sharing ideas and envisioning the trajectory of Interprofessional education and collaborative practice in the broader context of healthcare. It was a great honor to share interprofessional education and practice within GMU’s academic health system and to present the outcomes of our interprofessional research project at GMU.”
