Spinal Decompression

Compression of the spine can lead to such conditions as sciatica, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, or pinched nerves.  Spinal injuries can come from a single traumatic event like car accident, sports injury, or fall; or they can slowly develop from repeated excessive stress and overuse.  Certain forms of cancer or other diseases can also cause injuries to the spine.

Spinal decompression is the process of relaxing and stretching the spine, which relieves pressure on discs, and creates negative pressure.  This negative pressure acts as a vacuum that causes the flow of oxygen, blood, and nutrients into the disc, which will allow the spine to heal itself.

Treatable conditions include:
  • Lower Back Pain
  • Sciatica
  • Herniated Discs
  • Bulging Discs
  • Disc Degeneration
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Post Surgical Syndrome
Spinal decompression at AlignRight Chiropractic is a safe and effective alternative to back surgery.  Length of treatments will vary with each patient.  In most cases, additional treatments are not required after the initial program is complete.  However, some cases may require future reevaluation depending on the patient's particular job or daily activities.  Our doctors will work with you to determine if spinal decompression is the right treatment for you, and how your lifestyle can effect your results and overall health.  Schedule an appointment at our Dallas or Richardson office for a free consultation.
