Organizations

The Dartmouth College Association for Women in Mathematics is our local chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics. It is open to all regardless of major or gender!


Activities

The C. Dwight Lahr Lecture Series was established in memory and honor of Dwight’s contributions to the Department of Mathematics and to the College, and in recognition of his commitment to inclusivity and diversity.


Initiatives

  • The Academic Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (ASURE) provides summer research experience to non-Dartmouth undergraduates, preparing them for future graduate research training.
  • The E. E. Just Program seeks to increase the number of underrepresented minorities at Dartmouth pursuing degrees and careers in STEM disciplines.
  • Dartmouth's Scholar's Program is a workshop designed to diversify the next generation of academic leaders in STEM.
  • The Women in Science Project (WISP) creates collaborative learning environments where women can thrive in STEM and aim to enhance the experiences of female students, particularly in their first year.
