Following the last time, I introduce summer Kyoto with the keyword "green".
This time, I introduce Tofuku-ji Temple which has a very wide precincts.
This is Honbo southern garden.
This garden was designed in 75 years ago by Mirei Shigemori who is a genius landscape architect.
The dry landscape garden (Karesansui garden) in Ryoan-ji Temple is likened to the "silence".
On the other hand, this garden is likened to the "dynamic".
This is a green maple row of trees in front of Tofuku-ji Temple.
This area is the most suitable place for a walk, because this is a very quaint residential area.
This is Honbo northern garden.
After the rain, you can see brilliant green in this garden.
To watch the moss in the best condition, it's better that you visit on rainy day or after the rain.
(In midsummer, the moss become brown when it doesn't rain.)
