The ranking No.1 of 2015 is Hogon-in Temple.
This temple is in Arashiyama area.
The splendor of this garden is not only the beauty of the autumn leaves
but also in the exquisite combination of the trees and the buildings.
Notably, in addition to these buildings and trees,
streams, moss, rocks are also beautifully arranged.
If you walk this garden,
the scenery rich in variation will appear before you one after another.
In addition, the contrast was looking better
between bright green moss and bright red autumn leaves.

This is a maple tree near the temple gate.
Really colorful!
This temple is much smaller than the Kiyomizu Temple and Tofukuji Temple.

In 2015, autumn leaves of Higashiyama district was the worst finish in a recent '10.
The above image was taken in 2014.
The below image was taken in 2015.
Autumn leaves in 2015 was not very bright.
But, we were able to see wonderful scenery in some places.
This temple has attractions of autumn leaves everywhere,
the precincts seems to be a theme park.
And, this panorama is than anything!
It is too famous.
Although it is one of the most standard tourist destination,
It does not get tired even look many times.
It will be also a must next year!

2015 Ranking No.4 Ryoanji Temple
In 2015, autumn leaves of the Ryoanji Temple was very good.
The image above is a pond near the temple gate.
It is great !
However, I could not see the highlight of the Ryoanji Temple
"Autumn leaves that fall to the rock garden".
Because the strong wind out of season swept.
Disappointed!
But, in spite of the mild winter,
we have been very grateful that
it showed us the vivid autumn leaves.
This yellow is a must-see!
