Community Organizations and Partners

First FCPS Summer Extravaganza was an event filled with fun, learning, and community!

Over 900 attendees enjoyed face painting and more than 50 engaging activities that filled Woodson High School with laughter and learning at the first FCPS Summer Extravaganza! Families and students explored STEM projects together, learned about robotics, and unleashed their creativity in art activities - to name a few.

A huge thank you to the amazing FCPS staff and our incredible community partners throughout Fairfax County for their invaluable support.  The event fostered a strong sense of community and allowed families to connect and prepare for summer break. We are grateful to the 24 staff and 22 student volunteers who donated their time and effort. Not only did they earn valuable community service hours, but they also played an important role in making the event a success.

We are proud to be part of a thriving community where education, fun, and collaboration bring families and students together! Below are some fun summer activities and resources offered by our partners.
