Onboarding Portal
The Onboarding system allows newly hired or rehired employees the opportunity to review and complete relevant Human Resource, Payroll, and Benefit forms.
Congratulations on taking the next step in your professional journey with FCPS! As you move through the pre-employment process, you’ll complete several key steps to finalize your hire, such as submitting required documents, verifying employment eligibility, and completing onboarding tasks to prepare for your first day. All pre-employment requirements must be completed before your official start date. Failure to do so may delay your start or prevent you from beginning work as scheduled.
The specific steps may vary depending on your new position, but the process generally includes four (4) phases. Review the Overview section below for a summary of what to expect at each stage.
The onboarding tasks are divided into four phases. Each phase includes specific tasks and requirements designed to help you complete your hire and prepare for your first day. Please note, you cannot report to work until you have completed Phase 3 (your in-person processing appointment).
