COLLEGE APPLICATION CHECKLIST
- Narrow down list of colleges (6-8 on average)
- Determine application deadlines
Early Decision (binding agreement) typically between November - December
Early Action (non-binding) typically between November - December
Regular Decision (non-binding) typically between January - February
Rolling Admission – decisions made throughout the year
- Begin Application (CommonApp, Coalition, or directly through University/College)

- If needed: Request SAT scores form College Board or ACT scores from ACT ( ONE MONTHbefore application deadline)
- Submit a Consent for Release of Student Records with student and parent signature ( https://www.fcps.edu/sites/default/files/media/forms/is111.pdf )
- Complete Transcript Request Form ( ONE MONTHbefore application deadline) electronically ( https://tinyurl.com/AHS-TRF ). Email Transcript Specialist Miriam Esquivel ( @email ) if you have questions.
- Complete Counselor Recommendation Brag Sheet & add their email to your college application ( ONE MONTH before application deadline)
