Thank you, Fairview Custodians!

While students and staff were hunkered down for the week after the biting ice and snow storm on January 24 and January 25, 2026, Fairview's dedicated custodial team were on the move at Fairview Elementary. 

After the storm, our sidewalks, parking lots, and roads were a frozen landscape. Our custodians were on-site in the early hours, navigating slick parking lots and sub-zero wind chills to clear the pathways. The team shoveled and salted miles (or so it felt!) of sidewalks, entryways, and bus loops. Through grit, frozen fingers, and hours of intensive labor, the Fairview custodial team worked to make sure arrival could be safe for students and staff.
