Digital Citizenship Week 2025 at Frost MS
Digital Citizenship Week 2025 focuses on daily themes to help students navigate the digital world thoughtfully. At Frost MS there will be daily learning themes and suggested spirit day wear.
The daily themes and lessons for students are: Curiosity on Tuesday, covering "Social Engineering & Online Deception; and Creativity on Wednesday, focusing on "Your Curated Self". The week continues with Human Connection on Thursday, with learning focused on Artificial Intelligence and "Parasocial Relationships", and concludes on Friday with Healthy Habits, teaching "What Are Thinking Traps?".
Students can show their Digital Citizenship Spirit each day! The themed wear includes Detective/Investigator on Tuesday, Mix & Match on Wednesday, and Twin/Group Day on Thursday. We'll round out the week with Sports Day on Friday.
Our Parent/Guardian Schoology will feature a daily update aligned with the middle school themes, offering valuable resources to extend the learning at home. Each day, we'll provide themed videos to introduce the concepts and share tips and conversation starters to help families engage their 7th and 8th graders in meaningful discussions about critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, human connection, and healthy tech habits. These resources, such as "Carpool Conversations" and Podcasts, are designed to make the digital citizenship conversation a regular part of family life.
