Middle School After School Program
The Middle School After-School Program, Hawks Stay After, gives students the opportunity to hang out, get academic support, and build healthy relationships with their peers. Some activities and clubs that will be offered this school year are: Game Room, Arts and Crafts, Fitness and Wellness, Improv, and Robotics.
Hayfield Middle School After-School Program - Begins Wednesday, September 10, 2025
Interested in having your child participate in the Hawks After-School Program? Below are a few things you need to do to help you and your student(s) be successful after-school.
Parents Must complete the Digital Consent Form for After-School.

All students staying on school grounds after 2:55pm must compete this form. You only need to provide consent once for the entire school year.
It is even necessary in the event of unforeseen circumstances (like missing the bus). In this case your child will be allowed to stay after.
Sports: All students must have a completed an approved FCPS PPE form by a physician. This includes:
- Cross Country in the Fall, Track and Field in Spring.
- Student participating in any Intramural Sport.

- Emergency Care Form - Please submit this to Coach Abella along with PPE Form. Students can bring this to lunches as I am in all lunches or my mailbox which is in Fairfax Hall.
Hayfield Middle School After-School Program - Procedures
All middle school students should report to the middle school cafeteria no later than 2:55 pm when staying after for academic support, clubs, sports, or activities daily. Students will be released from the cafeteria by 3:05 pm with their Sponsors.
How to Sign Up for Clubs:
• Visit the Schoology group “Middle School After-School Program (Hawks Stay After)”
• Students will sign-in EVERY DAY for the activity they want to participate in for that day using the links provided in the Schoology group on the calendar. You cannot sign up ahead of time, it must be the day of.
• Students should visit the Schoology group for complete schedule and information daily.
The middle school students will receive a snack provided by the MSASP. Students will need to report to the Middle School Cafeteria by 2:55 pm and be seated and signed-in to receive the snack.
*If a student is found roaming the building or has left campus and not participating in the after-school program, parents or guardians will be called to pick up their student as they will not be allowed to ride the late bus.
Late Bus Transportation
Late busses are provided Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to all students that are assigned an FCPS AM and PM bus.
*Please know that your student’s late bus number and/or stop may be different from their regular FCPS AM and PM bus. This information can be found in ParentVUE look for “HFLR-#”.
If your student stays after on Fridays, they will have to have parent pick-up at Door 9. Students that walk or ride a bike from school normally can do so after-school.
