Family Liaison

Welcome Mason Crest Parents and Guardians!

Mason Crest has a Family Liaison dedicated to helping families. Our Family Liaison is Liz Denman . She can assist you with your concerns and interests, helping you and your family get the support and assistance you need. Ms. Denman speaks Spanish as well as English. (Sra. Denman habla inglés y español.)

Family liaisons can:

• provide new families with information about the school and community;
• conduct tours of the building for new families;
• connect families with teachers and with other school personnel who provide specialized assistance and resources (such as our school counselors, our school psychologist, and our school social worker);
• connect families with resources beyond the school, both in FCPS and in the greater community;
• help families complete required paperwork (such as school forms, health forms, free/reduced lunch applications, summer program applications, etc.);
• schedule a certified county interpreter to attend meetings for parents who speak a language other than English;
• help parents who want to volunteer find productive ways to support the school;
• support the PTA in its programs and events.
