Important Links and Parent Information
SIS ParentVue
View your child’s information including attendance, report cards, class schedules, gradebook, test history, IEP/504 documents, discipline, health, and school information. You can update emergency contacts and health information through SIS. If you had an active account from the 2024-2025 school year, you can continue to use this account for the upcoming school year. If you need to register for a ParentVue Account please click on the following link: SIS Parent Account Overview, Login, and Registration If you do not have access to parentvue, please email our registrar Caroline Kamel at [email protected] to give you an access code.
Free and Reduced Lunch Application
Students who qualify for free and reduced-price meals receive breakfast and lunch at school at no cost. Families should complete the application before the start of each school year. Approved applications may also qualify students for additional benefits.

Meals for Students
Information about meal prices, setting up lunch accounts and payment options ( MySchoolBucks , cash or check) for cafeteria meals can be found here . Lunch Menus, allergens and nutrition information are available here . Food and Nutrition Services will email student PINs via e-notify before the first day of school.
Immunizations
Now is the time to make sure your child’s school-required immunizations are up-to-date! If you have a student returning to Wolftrap ES and vaccine updates have been requested, please provide these to the school office as soon as possible. You will be receiving a letter from the office if you are non-compliant and need updated immunizations. For a list of Back-to-School Immunization Clinics and information click here .
Clinic and Medications
During Open House, our clinic will be open to drop off medications, and parents can submit updates/changes to Emergency Care and Health Information forms if needed. Parents can use SIS ParentVUE to verify and update their student’s emergency contacts, phone numbers, and health conditions.

Communication
*If you are not already receiving a weekly newsletter from FCPS and Wolftrap, sign up today . You can use the link to sign up for the Wolftrap Paw Prints newsletter from Dr. Grove and our PTA Connection newsletter. Please follow us on Instagram @wolftrapelementary. Enotify messages come to you directly, but you need to sign up for newsletters.
You may wish to read FCPS messages in a language other than English. There are several ways you can receive or view our communications in a different languages .
Schoology : This is the main tool for communicating with classroom teachers and receiving classroom news and assignments. Schoology parent account (same username and password as SIS parent Vue) gives you access to your child’s classes and upcoming assignments.
PTA website : This is where you can sign-up for PTA and find out PTA information.
Talking Points : This is a communication tool that is great for translation. This program has an app to download.
Parent Digital Consent
Please log into the following link , The opt out below must be renewed yearly, for the following permissions:

- Consent for Release of student records.

- Objection to release of information to outside organizations.

Transportation
Download the Here Comes the Bus app and register to access up-to-date bus and transportation information. Also be sure to check out the Parents' Guide to Bus Safety

Arrival and Dismissal
Students should arrive at school no earlier than 8:10 am to ensure their safety and supervision. They may gather in the cafeteria. At 8:20 am, our first bell rings; students should be in their classroom when the second bell rings at 8:30 am.
Walkers may enter Door 1 or Door 2. To begin building routines and expectations for students, we are asking that families walk their students to the classroom only on AUGUST 18thAfter Kindergarten drop off, Kinder parents, please join us in the Wolftrap library at 8:45am for a welcome coffee. On August 19th, please be prepared to complete drop-off at Door 1 or 2 and not go to classrooms. Kindergarten instructional assistants and staff will be available to help escort students on the short walk to their classrooms.
We begin our dismissal process at 3:15 pm and all students are usually on their way home no later than 3:25 pm. Kinder students will be walked out by 3:10pm. Please be sure that if your kindergarten student rides the bus, they must be met by their parent or an approved emergency contact at their bus stop. Bus drivers will not release kindergarten students to siblings or unauthorized adults. Kindergarten students who are walkers must be met and will only be released to a parent or authorized adult.
Parents who wish to pick up their children by car should use the Kiss and Ride lane pictured below.
