By matching specialized support with standard lessons, we ensure every multilingual learner gains the academic language needed for success in college, career, and life.

In the Strategic Plan Update portion of the April 9 Fairfax County School Board meeting, Dr. Reid shared this video about providing a rigorous English language development curriculum for multilingual learners.

The impact of this curriculum and support goes beyond academics – it builds the self-confidence students need to succeed. What may feel unfamiliar at first, can become a journey that offers students the lifelong benefit of being multilingual.
