Options to view text customization reporting
Review the instructions below to access your reporting data from the ad level, campaign level, or from Combination Reporting.
Follow these instructions to access ad level asset reporting.
- Google customized text assets can be identified through the designation “Automatically created” in the “Asset source” column.
- Impressions, spend, conversions, and more performance metrics are available for Google customized text assets.
- Text customization is visible in the channel-level and campaign-level asset reports.
Follow these instructions to access campaign level asset reporting.

Note: Campaign level asset reporting is the best way to access text customization reporting at scale.
Follow these instructions to access Combination Reporting.
- Combination reports denote if they contain Google customized text assets.
- You’ll be able to check the impressions your responsive search ads are getting and view which are the most common asset combinations shown.
Note: Google customized text assets are generated using the ad-level final URL. If you use keyword-level final URLs, you can still turn on text customization. However, asset generation may be limited. Landing pages with limited content should expect fewer generated assets.
