Get help with your Pixel phone

If you have issues with your Pixel phone, you can get help in several ways.

Troubleshoot common issues

You can solve many common software issues like frozen apps, camera issues, or poor connectivity. Before you seek further help, try these steps.

  1. Restart your phone:A simple restart often fixes temporary issues.
  2. Check for app and system updates:Make sure your apps and phone software are up-to-date.
    • For app updates:
      1. Open the Google Play Store appGoogle Play.
      2. Tap your Profile iconand then Manage apps & deviceand then Update all.
    • For system updates:
      1. Open your phone’s Settings appSettings.
      2. Tap Systemand then System update.
  3. Check in Safe Mode:You can temporarily disable all third-party apps with Safe Mode to help you identify if a downloaded app caused the issue. If the issue disappears in Safe Mode, try to uninstall recently added apps. Learn how to reboot to safe mode .
  4. Reset network settings:For issues with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cellular connectivity, try these steps.
    1. Open your phone’s Settings appSettings.
    2. Tap Systemand then Reset optionsand then Choose the best option.

    Tip:This will clear saved networks and pairings.

  5. Do a factory reset:If other steps don't work, you can reset your phone to its factory settings.
    • Important:A factory reset erases all data from your phone. Be sure to back up your data first.
    • To do a factory reset:
      1. Open your phone’s Settings appSettings.
      2. Tap Systemand then Reset optionsand then Erase all data (factory reset).

From your Pixel phone

  1. On your phone, open the Settings appSettings.
  2. Scroll down.
  3. For Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold:Tap Settingsand then Device health & supportand then Tips & supportand then Contact us.
    • For Pixel 9a and earlier:Tap Tips & supportand then Contact us.
  4. Enter info about your issue.
  5. Tap Next stepand then Chator Get a call.

From any phone, tablet, or computer

  1. Open the Pixel Phone Help Center
  2. At the bottom of any page, under "Need more help," select  Contact us
  3. Enter info about your issue. 
  4. Select  Next step and then Chator Get a call.
