AlloyDB is optimized for the most demanding use cases, allowing you to build new applications that require high transaction throughput, large database sizes, or multiple read resources; scale existing PostgreSQL workloads with no application changes; and modernize legacy proprietary databases.

Quickstart
The following shows the code that you'll run in thegoogle/cloud/alloydb/quickstart/directory, which should give you a taste of the AlloyDB API C++ client library API.
The main class in this library isalloydb_v1::AlloyDBAdminClient. All RPCs are exposed as member functions of this class. Other classes provide helpers, configuration parameters, and infrastructure to mockalloydb_v1::AlloyDBAdminClientwhen testing your application.
Retry, Backoff, and Idempotency Policies.
The library automatically retries requests that fail with transient errors, and usesexponential backoffto backoff between retries. Application developers can override the default policies.
