The deprecation policy that applies to Compute Engine is defined in Google Cloud's terms of service (section 1) as Discontinuation of Services . The deprecation policy only applies to the features and services listed here .
After Google deprecates a Compute Engine feature, the feature is available for at least the period of time defined in the terms of service . After this period of time, Google schedules the feature or service for shutdown.
