Set up tasks
Set up Voice Match
- Open the Google Home app .
- At the top right, tap your Profile pictureor Initial.
- Tap Home settings

- The app shows all devices that support Voice Match. Tap a device to enable or disable Voice Match.
- If you don’t have any devices with Voice Match enabled, tap Moreand follow the in-app steps.

Turn on Personal results
- Open the Google Home app .
- At the top right, tap your Profile pictureor Initial.
- Tap Home settings

Tip:You can also set up personal results when you set up Voice Match .
You can ask Gemini for Home voice assistant to set a task for you. For example, you can say “Hey Google,” then:
- "Set a task."
- "Remind me to call Mom at noon tomorrow."
- "Remind me to take the bins out every Wednesday at 8:00 PM."
Tip:You can also create Tasks from other Google apps like Calendar, Gmail, and Chat.

You can change a task’s details like the time. For example, you can say: “Hey Google, change my task to buy milk to 5:00 PM.”

- Tap the task you want to edit.
- Select your preferences.
When you don’t need a task anymore, you can mark it as completed.

Google Assistant gets help from AI to add tasks to Google Tasks.
Important:
- For now, AI-supported actions are only available in English, in the United States, and to users 18 and over.
- AI can make mistakes, so double check your tasks in the Google Tasks app.
