Reality TV star Christina Hall is going through a messy and very public divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall.
She says that Josh is asking for an “outrageous” $65,000 a month in spousal support, despite the fact that they were married for less than three years.
As their legal battle continues, the couple has also been fighting over a multi-million-dollar home and making serious accusations against each other.
Here’s a breakdown of the situation.
Christina, who is 41 years old and best known for her show Flip or Flop , filed for divorce from Josh Hall in July 2024, after almost three years of marriage.
Recently, Josh presented a settlement offer in court, asking for $65,000 per month in spousal support.
Christina and her legal team have strongly opposed this request, calling it unreasonable.
Christina’s lawyer, Matthew S. DeArmey, said the request was “outrageous” and was not made in “good faith.”
He explained that Josh is self-supporting and does not need such a large sum of money.
In addition to opposing Josh’s request, Christina’s legal team pointed out that Josh had recently spent over $70,000 to pay off the lease on her Bentley, a luxury car.
Her lawyers argue that this proves Josh has enough money and doesn’t need $65,000 per month in spousal support .
Christina’s lawyer also accused Josh of using legal tactics to block Christina from selling the Tennessee mansion they once shared, which has added more complications to the divorce.
One of the major points of conflict between the couple is their $4.5 million home in Tennessee.
Christina recently put the mansion up for sale and expressed her excitement about selling it on social media.
However, Josh has filed legal papers to stop the sale, claiming that the home was not just an investment property but a real home where they spent a lot of time together.
Christina, on the other hand, insists that it was primarily an investment property that Josh could use when it wasn’t being rented out.
Josh has argued that he made a “good faith” settlement offer to Christina, which included terms related to the Tennessee house.
However, Christina rejected the offer. Josh’s spokesperson responded by saying Christina’s claims are “riddled with provably false statements.”
They also stated that Josh never requested $65,000 in spousal support, calling her claims false and “libelous.”
Christina has made serious accusations against Josh, including claims that he “stole” $35,000 from her.
In a post on Instagram, Christina referenced their troubled relationship , writing, “Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids… I guess plans changed. All about trying to take everything you can… With your mind on my money and my money on your mind… Byeeee.”
Despite these public statements, Josh’s team has denied any wrongdoing, saying that he hasn’t stolen a penny from Christina or her family.
His spokesperson added that Josh wants to handle the divorce privately, but Christina has chosen to make their problems public.
Josh remains focused on resolving the matter through the courts and not through social media.
Josh’s spokesperson further challenged Christina’s claim that the Tennessee house was merely an investment property.
They pointed out that Christina was in Nashville so often that she had to publicly explain why she was spending so much time there, which they argue wouldn’t be necessary if it was just an investment.
According to Josh, the home was their “second home,” not just a property they rented out.
In the midst of the divorce , Christina has officially changed her last name back to her maiden name, Haack.
This is the fifth time in the last ten years that Christina has changed her name.
After her first marriage to Tarek El Moussa, she took his last name. When they divorced, she changed her name to Haack, but after marrying Ant Anstead, she took his last name.
After their split, she went back to Haack before taking the last name Hall when she married Josh.
Now, following her third divorce, she has returned to Haack once again.
Christina has three children from her previous marriages.
She shares her two oldest children , 13-year-old Taylor and 8-year-old Braydon, with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa.
She also has a 4-year-old son, Hudson, with her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead.
Christina has always been open about her love for her children and how important they are to her, especially during difficult times like her divorce from Josh.
Josh Hall has kept a relatively low profile compared to Christina, but sources close to him say he was unhappy with how their marriage ended and is ready to move on.
He reportedly moved out of their $12 million Newport Beach, California mansion voluntarily and has been living a more private life since their split.
A source said that Josh “never wanted to be famous” and that their marriage was always more about Christina’s public life, not his.
Josh’s spokesperson added that he prefers privacy and wants to resolve the divorce quietly and respectfully.
However, Christina’s decision to make their problems public on social media has made it harder for him to stay quiet.
Despite the tension, Josh continues to hope for a peaceful resolution.
Christina has opened up about how the divorce has affected her personally.
She shared on Instagram that she had trouble eating for weeks after the separation and struggled emotionally.
Over time, though, she found comfort in her children and said that being with them helped her feel better.
In a recent post, she said that her house finally feels like home again and that her kids are happy.
