An amazing event happened backstage at a recent show in Mississippi that changed Brantley Gilbert’s life in a way that he will never forget.
The country artist , who is known for his upbeat shows and personal growth, was thrown into a moment that changed his life beyond the stage.
This event, which brought Gilbert’s love of music and his devotion to his family together, became a turning point in his life.
It won the hearts of fans and left a lasting impact on everyone who saw it. Keep reading for more details!
Country star Brantley Gilbert said that October 13, 2024, was the “ craziest night of my life.”
The musician, who is known for his high-energy shows and hits like “Bottoms Up,” had to leave the stage in Tupelo, Mississippi, because of something out of his control.
Amber Cochran Gilbert, Gilbert’s wife, was in labor, and they did not have time to get to the hospital.
Lucky for them, the musician’s tour bus was where they had their third child, a boy. It was one of the most amazing nights of their lives.
The night started like any other for the country singer, who had just started his show at Cadence Bank Arena. But not long after the show started, Gilbert got important news that would change the night’s plans.
With him on the trip, his wife Amber was about to give birth on the tour bus that was parked outside the venue.
Gilbert rushed offstage to be by her side right away, which shocked fans at first but eventually helped them understand how serious the situation was.
Gilbert shared the story of the amazing event on social media a day after it came to pass.
In an Instagram post, he talked about the memorable event, and how proud he was of his wife and the people who helped them.
He wrote, “Last night might have been the craziest night of my life.” “I will never forget seeing such a beautiful woman do such a beautiful thing.”
Our road family came together to help us, Brittany Thornton helped us bring this little guy into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi, for all your love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, thanks for letting me love you and showing me how strong women can be. “I love you.”
As Gilbert ran offstage to help his wife, a chain of events happened that no one could have seen coming. Along with her husband, Amber gave birth to their son on the tour bus.
They later named him Abram Howell. Due to the urgency of the situation, the choice was made to deliver the baby on-site.
The birth went smoothly, in part because of the help of Brittany Thornton, a member of their tour family who helped with the delivery.
Gilbert posted a video on social media that showed the amazing chain of events. The musician was seen on video quickly making his way toward the tour bus as his team told him about the emergency.
Once he was on the bus, he called his mother to tell her the happy news that he was going to have a grandchild.
As Amber held the baby close for some skin-to-skin time, the camera cut to scenes of the newborn lying on a towel.
Gilbert said in the video, “She is a freaking savage,” thanking Amber for being strong and calm during the unplanned birth.
The video collage also showed Gilbert looking lovingly at his wife and new baby son, clearly amazed by what had happened that night.
Even though things took a strange turn, Gilbert did not keep his friends in the dark for long.
The country star went back to the stage to finish the show after making sure Amber and their baby were safe and healthy.
When he got back, he told everyone, “We had a baby!” People in the crowd cheered and celebrated with the singer and his family.
Brantley and Amber Gilbert’s path to having a child has been one of love, strength, and growth.
They have had a wonderful life together since they got married in June 2015. As a former schoolteacher, Amber met Brantley many years ago, when the singer was having personal problems, such as abusing drugs. But there were some hard times in their love story.
Recently, Brantley talked about their early days on the “ God’s Country ” podcast. He remembered that Amber’s family went to the same church where he was doing community work.
He remembered very clearly the first time he saw her and how she captivated him right away. “There were times I was not sure if I was going to marry her, but I knew it was something special,” he said.
Even though they had an obvious link, they broke up for seven years because Brantley was having problems.
During this time, he started doing things that hurt himself, but Amber’s effect on him stayed.
He remembered how, even when he was feeling very bad, he would try to stay calm around her but would lose it as soon as they left.
When they finally got back together, Brantley was there for Amber when she was having a hard time. He was sober at the time. From that point on, they could not be apart.
Their love for each other has gotten stronger over time. They now have three happy kids: Barrett Hardy-Clay, 6, Braylen Hendrix, 5, and Abram Howell, who was born just now.
On Mother’s Day earlier this year, the couple shared a cute picture of themselves holding an ultrasound picture of their third child, who is due in the autumn. The birth of Abram was a wonderful, if unplanned, addition to their family.
The Gilberts’ third child was not in their original “five-year plan,” but they have accepted the unexpected and changed their lives to make room for their growing family .
During an interview, Brantley said that they had not planned to have a third child so soon.
“ We had a plan for five years!” It took me 15 years to find a farm close to where I grew up, but I finally did. “Bro, everything was going well, we were fine,” he said.
But when Abram came along, those plans changed. Their five-year plan turned into a one-year sprint. People in the family are building their dream home on a big piece of land close to Brantley’s hometown right now.
Brantley’s singing does not look like it will slow down any time soon. His next show is set for October 17, 2024, in Savannah, Georgia.
He will keep performing with the same passion that has made his work what it is. Fans can look forward to hearing more honest music from the singer, who gets a lot of ideas from his own life.
People are deeply moved by his story of how he went from being an unhappy young man to a loving husband and father.
