Country rapper Colt Ford wrote the music, and Jason Aldean recorded it for his fourth studio album, “My Kinda Party.” A cowboy chilling on a dirt road with an ice-cold beer is described in the song. He’s chilling out while driving and flashing back to the good old days.
With over 4 million sales, “Dirt Road Anthem” became the most successful male solo artist digital download. Aldean was nominated for a Grammy for his efforts as well.
