Angelina Jolie is no stranger to making headlines, but her latest moves have nothing to do with her film career or ongoing legal battles with Brad Pitt.
Instead, Jolie has taken on a high-profile role in the beauty industry and is continuing to expand her creative influence through her New York City store, Atelier Jolie.
Keep reading about what she’s been up to lately!
Angelina Jolie has become the first-ever celebrity ambassador for Tom Ford Beauty , marking a significant milestone for the brand.
She’s set to star in a new campaign for the relaunch of Tom Ford’s Runway Lip Color, which is scheduled to hit the market in September.
This collaboration is not just another endorsement deal—Jolie’s involvement speaks to her personal connection with the brand.
In the new ads, Jolie is seen wearing the Scarlet Rouge shade, a color she’s particularly fond of.
As she told WWD.com, “It’s a beautiful color and texture. A good red lip needs little else. It’s worn with intention.” Her endorsement of the product feels authentic, adding weight to the campaign.
Tom Ford Beauty’s president and CEO, Guillaume Jesel, emphasized Jolie’s broad appeal across various demographics, noting her unique connection to Gen Z.
He also highlighted the natural link between the brand and the film industry, stating, “Tom is a filmmaker, and he shot a lot of his own photography. The connection to film and the cinematic aspect of the visual imagery that he created for this brand set it aside from anyone else and has been integral to our DNA.”
The new Runway Lip Color collection is designed to be the ultimate fashion accessory, with 18 shades, including 10 new colors and eight carried over from the previous line.
The lipsticks are priced at $62, while the accompanying Runway Lip Pencils are available in eight shades for $46.
This relaunch signifies more than just new products—it’s a reflection of Tom Ford’s commitment to luxury and artistry in beauty.
While Jolie’s new role in the beauty industry is making waves, her creative energy is also being channeled into Atelier Jolie, her New York City-based store.
Opened last year, Atelier Jolie is not just a shop—it’s a space for creativity, learning, and community engagement.
Located at 57 Great Jones Street in New York’s NoHo neighborhood, the store occupies a space that was once the studio and home of the legendary artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Atelier Jolie offers a variety of classes that encourage creativity and sustainability. From upcycling old clothing to experimental drawing with Andrew Castrucci, the classes are designed to inspire and empower participants.
The store itself is a reflection of Jolie’s commitment to sustainability and artistic expression.
It features clothing from sustainable brands around the world, Atelier Jolie’s own collection, and an art gallery.
The café, run by refugees under the brand Eat Offbeat , adds a welcoming touch to the space.
A fan described the store as “bustling” with a “very smart vibe,” adding, “It definitely was a labor of love for Jolie to highlight artists. And the coffee is good, the café is fun.”
Jolie has also been personally involved in the store’s activities. She’s hosted conversations with artists like Ferrari Sheppard and continues to engage with the community through various events.
Despite her fame and fortune, Jolie has made it clear that Atelier Jolie is not about profit.
In an interview with WSJ last year, she mentioned that she might lose money on the store, but that breaking even would be a victory if it meant putting her ideas into practice.
As Jolie’s professional endeavors flourish, her personal life remains complex.
Her son Pax was recently involved in an e-bike accident in Los Angeles, which left him with a head injury and hip pain. Despite initial concerns about minor brain bleeding, Pax is reportedly stable and may be discharged from the hospital soon.
Jolie has been by his side throughout his recovery, underscoring her dedication as a mother.
Meanwhile, Jolie’s legal battles with her ex-husband Brad Pitt continue to drag on.
The couple, who started dating in 2004 and married in 2014, split in 2016.
Their ongoing disputes over child custody and the ownership of their French vineyard, Chateau Miraval, have been anything but amicable.
While they were declared legally single in 2019, their legal fights show no sign of ending anytime soon.
Angelina Jolie’s recent ventures into the worlds of beauty and creative arts reveal a woman who is constantly evolving and expanding her influence.
As the face of Tom Ford Beauty, she’s bringing her unique style and global appeal to a new audience.
Through Atelier Jolie, she’s fostering a space where creativity, sustainability, and community come together.
Even as she navigates the challenges of her personal life, Jolie remains a powerful force in both the public and private spheres.
Her humanitarian acts are a source of hope for those underprivileged.
