警告！New Website Highlights Dangers of Social Networks
A new website called Please Rob Me is highlighting the dangers of posting one's whereabouts on social networking sites like Twitter.
Please Rob Me uses streams of data from Foursquare, an online game that incorporates players' locations in the real world, to extract information from those who have chosen to post their whereabouts automatically on Twitter.
Such tweets, the website's founders say, inform anyone, including potential burglars, of people's home addresses and times that they are not there.
By creating Please Rob Me, they hope to call attention to the importance of using discretion when posting personal information on the Internet.
