【今日の英文】
We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have .
（訳） 持っていないものを手にしたときに幸福がやってくるわけではないことを忘れがちである。幸福になれるのは、持っているものに気づき、それに感謝の念を抱いたときだ。

In Hinduism, Maya is recognized as a powerful force that creates the cosmic illusion that the phenomenal world is real.
Seeing through the illusion is seen as a path to liberating the soul.
Originally, the word was used to refer to the wizardry（魔術）with which a god can make humans believe in an illusion.
Maya is also the name of the Hindu goddess of illusion, and because of this association, it is a common girl's name in India.
