The Analogy

As said above, we have two cars,　one that runs on fuel (Ethereum Mainnet Today) and is not eco-friendly while　the other one is an electric car (The Beacon Chain). The end goal is to swap
the engine from the PoW car into the PoS car i.e transition the consensus of　mainnet from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake this event is called the merge, but in the process of transition the PoW car cannot be stopped (The　Current Mainnet cannot shut-down) that’s why it took 2 years to figure out the　process. The new mainnet will have the same body (Transactions, Data, Nodes)　but the engine will change (Consensus Protocol — PoS) which will slash the energy consumption by 99% making Ethereum an eco-friendly blockchain.
上に言ったように、我々は２台の車、燃料で走るもの（今日 イーサリアムメインネット）で環境配慮型でないもの得ある一方で、他のものが電気自動車（ビーコンチェーン）です。最終目標は PoW から PoS へのエンジンの乗り換えで、つまりメインネット合意を仕事の証明から賭け金の証明に移行することでこのイベントはマージ（併合）と呼ばれますが、しかしその移行の過程で PoW の車は止めることができません。（現在の メインネットは閉鎖することができません）それが、プロセスを理解するのに２年を要した理由です。新しいメインネットは同じ身体（取引、データ、ノード）を持つでしょうが、しかしエンジンは （合意プロトコル－ PoS へ）変わるでしょう。イーサリアムを環境配慮型ブロックチェーンにして９９％エネルギー消費を削減するでしょう。

l Fess will not reduce: GAS fee works like demand and supply, the more　the number of transactions more will be the fee. PoS doesn’t change the block　size.
