This is the first entry in 14 years and 2 months ...

The title of the homepage that my daughter made

as a birthday present for me in 2003 is

"JUST FOR FUN!"

The title of this blog, which started in 2004, is

"NEVER TOO LATE!"

Unfortunately, the service of the alc blog has ended; the title is

"Build a Strong Base!"

I thought that all the entries on the alc blog had disappeared,

but I suddenly and miraculously remembered

that I was migrating to the FC2 blog.

At that time, I was yelling in my heart all the time,

"24 hours a day is not enough!"

The blog entries are the record of the days

when I was struggling with my work, child-rearing

and enjoying learning English.

"Thank you for existing even though I left it for a long time ..."

With that in mind, I opened the blog.

What a surprise!

The title is "A Rosy Future" instead of "Build a Strong Base!"⁉

I realized that in 2013 when my two daughters finally became independent,

I dreamed of a rosy future.

I want to tell me at that time,

"Your future is rosy as you wished."

"Next year, you will turn 60 years old.

You are blessed with three cute grandchildren.”

"You have continued your favorite work,

while thanking everyone involved and everything

every moment of the last year before retirement with happiness.”

14年と2ヶ月ぶりのエントリーです…。

2003年の誕生日プレゼントとして娘が作ってくれたホームページのタイトルは
"JUST FOR FUN!"

2004年に始めたこのブログのタイトルは
”NEVER TOO LATE!”

残念ながらサービスが終了してしまったalc blogのタイトルは
"Build a Strong Base!"

alc blogのエントリーはすべて消滅したと思い込んでいたのですが、
なぜか、突然、奇跡的に、FC2ブログに移行していたことを思い出しました。

いつも「1日24時間じゃ足りないよぉ～！」と心の中で叫びながら、
仕事と子育てと英語学習の３足のわらじをはいて悪戦苦闘していた日々の記録…。

「長い間放置していたのに、無事存在してくれていてありがとう…。」
という思いで、ブログを開いてびっくり！

”Build a Strong Base!" ではなくて "A Rosy Future"⁉
2013年、2人の娘がようやく自立し、薔薇色の未来を夢見ていたのですね。

そのころのわたしに教えてあげたいです。

「あなたの未来はあなたが願っていたように、
薔薇色の未来になっていますよ。」
って。

「来年は、還暦。
かわいい3人の孫に恵まれていますよ。」
って。

「大好きな仕事を続けることができ、
最後の年の一瞬一瞬を、関わる全ての人、全てのことに感謝しながら、
幸せな気持ちで過ごしていますよ。」
って。
