Yesterday, after taking a rest at 3 o'clock,

I was writing some blog entries as I came up with.

The more I write, the more fun I feel.

Meanwhile, suddenly, I wanted to try "Google Translate".

I’d heard that it is excellent, but how much?

First of all, I copied and pasted the introductory text of this blog and try it;

I was surprised!

Amazing! It is really excellent!

Next, I copied and pasted the first entry after resuming this blog.

Then, I started the correction.

Soon after, I found it was really fun!

As I had been away from learning English for a long time,

I felt it was burden for me to write in English.

However, during the correction,

English phrases came to me one after another!

I realized I hadn’t forgotten what I’d learned!

I was deeply moved ...

I'm really happy!

Thank you, "Google Translate".

In fact, I don’t have any confidence about the tense ...

I hope that the ability of "thinking in English" will come back to me.

it was a memorable day in my history of learning English.

Actually, I have a plan after retirement ...

I expect that this experience will be one step closer to the realization.

It happened because I had restarted my blog.

"By taking one step, my world expands more and more."

I'm really glad that I was able to taste the feeling

I had experienced many times.

昨日、3時のおやつの後、

思いつくままにブログを書いていました。

書けば書くほど、書くことが楽しくなってきています。

どんどん書いている内、

ふと、「Google 翻訳」を試してみたくなりました。

優秀だと聞いているけれど、どれくらい？

まず、このブログの紹介文をコピペして試してみて、びっくり！

すご～い‼本当に優秀！

次に、このブログ再開後の初エントリーをコピペ。

そして、添削開始。

この作業の楽しいこと！

随分長い間英語学習から離れ、

英語で書くことが億劫で仕方なくなっていたのに、

どんどん英語のフレーズが浮かんでくるのですから！

忘れてなかったんだ！と感激…。

本当にうれしい！

ありがとう、「Google 翻訳」

時制については、迷ってばかりですが…。

そのうち、「英語で考える」という感覚も戻ってきますように…。

2021年7月23日は、

わたしの英語学習歴において、記念すべき日となりました。

実は、定年退職後にもくろんでいることがあって…。

その実現に１歩近づけたかも知れません。

ブログを再開したからこそ、ここにつながった…。

「1歩踏み出すことで、どんどん世界が広がっていく」

今までに何度も味わってきたこの感覚を

久々に味わうことができて、

本当にうれしいです。
